Yeah, but at least on that occasion, DHL managed to get the parcel to me, unlike the T-shirt which is still missing, or being worn with a DHL uniform. My credit card company's customer service person said something like "oh no, not DHL again!" then refunded the entire payment but I can't wear money!

Exactly like you say "but I can't wear money" !!
Representatives from the teespring company are very correct and they will give me back full refund , but I want my t-shirt, not my $ back :'-(
