DHL strikes again! Good news is that it's no longer in the islands, bad news is that mine has been picked up in Kirkwall, put on the boat to Aberdeen and "returned as undeliverable!"
Hardly surprising when the delivery address is 400+ miles away from the Orkneys!
Not f'kin happy, not one bit. When DHL's name appeared on the waybill I should have known they'd balls it up, the last thing they tried to deliver to me was a desktop case for a build that was due out the same week. Their local agent brought it up from Newcastle, his dog was in the car and decided to scratch the packaging off, the driver was [breaking the law by] smoking in his car on the way so when the remains of my parcel eventually got here (after a slightly less tortuous detour than via Twatt), it stank of tobacco, had doggy guber all over it and would have wanted some swift panel beating and a complete respray before it would have been fit for purpose. At least Paypal sorted a refund on that occasion, this time they're saying that because of the "undeliverable" status of the thing, there's nothing they can do. Just as well I funded the paypal with credit card and not e-cheque, at least Mastercard will sort it.
