BLASTER-VISION: Hollywood, Ca w/Lasonic TRC-920 Part 1 & 2

Here is my first real attempt at “BLASTER-VISION”.….really no editing in these. I just click and shoot. I will say that there was a bit more “up skirt” action then expected, it was kind of unavoidable given the camera’s angle and what not. (Sorry ladies of the site!) For the most part I was just cruisin’ and wasn’t really pointing the camera in any notable direction most of the time. It was just a crowded busy street. HOLLYWOOD BLVD, California USA

I did have a bit of intentional fun in the second video Blasting some early Twisted Sister and I just happened to follow a girl in a nice pair of shorts! I must admit, it probably makes me look like a perv, but if RedBenJoe can do it….

For the most part, I think the videos speak for themselves….RAW…On the street action! I just had to use the 920 for the first real outing. It just seem's right! (and yes....I should have dusted my radio off before taking her outside! )

There were a few guys’ that called out to me with thumbs up about the radio and one guy asked me to crank it up! Depending on the camera angle, you will see people looking at me not sure what too do! I think for the most part it is considered rude to do what I did or it is something they have never seen before, but no one said anything. Interesting social experiment if you ask me!

I showed a good friend of mine all the footage I took right on my phone. He wants to help me develop the idea, use better cameras, more camera angles.

Yeah, I have seen these, $200+....not sure I want to spend that kind of money ....We'll see where it all goes....who knows!

I love this radio BECAUSE it plays "Metal" VERY WELL!

I'll tell ya, I haven't walked with a blaster in a long time....that thing was KILLIN' my wrist....And you were doing in with an M90!

We'll I'll be doing more of this with other radio's....so we'll she how that goes!

Yeah, totally....it's Hollywood....no one really cares...BUT if you watch the footage where the camera is looking backwards and up, you can see people staring with a "WTF" look on their face. For the most part those are tourists from Iowa! Of course I look ar normal as you do Glu

Here's a suggestion -> Wide angle or fisheye lens? Not sure if it would work...but I would have loved to see some of the reactions of those folks.

I guess being 2 1/2 feet tall would have some advantages afterall!! LOL

You should invest in a strap for next time I used a guitar strap for my M90 back in the day. So no one said anything about a "video camera" in plain sight on your boombox?

Wow Chris you are goin better and better cameraman. Great video. That remains me (no idea why ) for the times when we were kids and use to stick small mirrors on the shoe toe cap and trying to look under girls skirts . Great job dude
