Hey everyone,
So the question here is, in terms of sound quality, which boombox has the best possible sound, while remaining light weight enough to be lugged around via strap on your back all day? As we all know the giant grails are capable of putting out a wall of sound, but sometimes bringing that amount of funk with you isn't very practical for your back or the setting.
Recently I've been spending a lot of time riding around town with my friends on bikes, and in fact that's what we did celebrating the 4th of July. My collection is up to 4 boxes now, the Lasonic L-30K, a JVC RC 838, a Sanyo MX-650K, and finally a Sanyo M9935K, the latter of which gets the most play time because I can bike for hours with that thing strapped to my back. I've thought maybe something like a JVC M70 might do the trick, but when that thing is loaded with batteries, I have a feeling it'd be just as heavy as my 838.
This is how we roll!
What do you guys think!?
