Dudes.... It was fun!

Again, thank you max for having accepted me over as a guest and boombox enthusiast!!!!! Thanks for offering me the 5350! But, as you might have noticed, I forgot it!!!! :annoyed:

So, just hold on to it 'til I come back, okay!?

Later guys!!!!!!!!!!!

awesome , i must say that the 5350 is the most impressive looking box ever!. for the short time i held one it made me feel like a king , the only other box that made me feel like that was the good ole m90. these are huge awesome looking boxes ,they almost make you feel unworthy of them as i was cuz i can't afford one of the sumbitches.

The LEDs were white... But the light looks blue because of the reflection on the blus color (of the 880)

It was nice, very nice to see an 880 light up like that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again, thank you for coming over and for the great time we spent. :)
It surely was a blast!

Of all the collections I have seen online, none matches Max's in depth & breadth. His taste is immaculate and his enthusiasm is unbridled.

I shudder to imagine his collection in 20 years, when he fully hits his stride. He needs a title of his own, Bobby.

How about "Legend in Training" or some such moniker?

Thanks for your nice words . :beer2:
Yes, I did put in quite a bit of effort but most of the time it was just plain luck that got me my really rare ones.
I doubt my collection is going to be very different in 20 years from what it is now...there's still 2 or 3 boxes I am looking for but other than that, I am more than happy with the wall as it is :)

I think I kinda know what you mean, somewhat. Since I got my M-90, I play it almost constantly as my "upstairs box." Along with a beater GF-767 at my basement workbench, they are almost all I play. I was inspired by your photos to pull out a big one at random and ended up with the M-9998 for the weekend. :stereo: I have only bought a part here and there in almost 4 months now, and have no interest to troll eBay like I used too (more for you, Joe!)

No new boomers in 3 months. I'm gonna have to start "popping tags" at the thrifts to get some enthusiasm back, maybe.

Anyway, here's to your having continued "luck" as you say! Hope you finish your wall soon, so I'll have a definitive ending to shoot for. :hmmm: :w00t: :beer2:

Great collection Max!

I didn't see the Conion BTTF. What ever happened to it? :hmmm:

Go!

I still have the painted case but the project is put on ice sadly because I yet need to find a beater C100 with working guts (at least line in).
It's not an easy task in Europe though :/
