Anybody here like eggs

Some of them sound so much better than 80's boomboxes like the panasonic rx dt 707 909

just bought this one with dolby c...i think this is a rare one and im looking forward to it guys

this is the panasonic rx dt9 only available from japan

i need something small that sounds good as i just cant lift them anymore and this fits the bill

this is suposed to sound better than the 707 909 which sound superb

i have heard this before but we will see lol

I wouldn't have passed this one up either Reno. It may not scream "80's Boombox" but it does represent the beginning of the end for our beloved boomers.

I'll take the 707 because I consider it the best of the Cobra tops I used to have one when they were new and the thing is badass might be more higher models but that's the one I like the most.

I gave up on these fancy eggs a long time ago . The 707 is not really an egg . It possesses a badass level that none of these eggs have.

If you love it that's all that counts I'm happy for you. The JVC PCX series when they got in good working sub are no slouch either.

Thanks lads, geoff you know me my friend i am all about sound quality...if they fail and are over rated they get my wrath lol and the thing that sealed the deal for me was Dolby c, on an egg, just wow... this also has a 5 band eq and manual record level with S xbs lad

Floyd bro i have had all the eggs also had a 707 new back in the day, untill now i have never heard a better egg i know people don't like them but yes it makes a mockery of something like an m70 also i think they look stunning even though there all black bro....the seller i bought it from is selling all the eggs including the 909 but stated in his listing this was the best, we will see lad lol, been using the 707 and it's superb indeed

Reli if you want loud outside there are only 2 boxes imho the m90 and the conion c100 but it must be 15 years since i went out with a box lad lol... people may say the m70 but it is not hifi quality like the m90 lad....people may sugest the telefunken studio but as every one knows that is also mickey mouse outside

i actually found a kaboom to be best out side but i found the m90 was louder ...the walls used to bounce lol

Telefunken is the absolute best sounding 80's box.......But a simple M70 would blow it away outdoors, in terms of sheer volume.
Little 4" sealed speakers like the Telefunken's simply cannot project much volume. They make great bass though.

The main problem with the telefunken is there is not enough power supplied to the battery rails, if there was the funken would be as loud as the m70 but with hifi quality sound bro

I don't know what is wrong with my dt 707 it's basically brand new but it is sounding better than the m90 at the moment, just WOW also it has the best surround i have heard on any box

And these can pound out some sound I remember it being plenty loud to my surprise . I bought it from a guy I worked with and he had it new for about a week then sold it to me for half what he paid.

Yup these can pound bro i basically bought this one boxed brand new off ebay about 7 years ago but never used it, this may be my go to box my friend

the decks have stopped working but that is just the micro switches that need cleaning....if you look on youtube there is loads on this model

nothing much is said about this one here but i remember redbenjoe and others loving them......i have another mint one but decks don't work or the cd, you should live over here ya old bugger lol

Yep and they cost some serious money . I also had the top of the line Sony but it was so ****ing cheap feeling and ugly the guy gave it to me because he said he couldn't look at it anymore lol. I also had an m90 so these boxes looked pretty weak by comparison.

I remember buying that vz2000 at a pawn shop in Frederick Maryland and I had to walk a couple of hundred feet back to my vehicle and people looked at me like I was from another planet but I was proud as can be but the weight that motherfuker was killing me and my girlfriend to the time hated it but I didn't give a f***.

oh trust me for the first couple of feet I carried it by the handle then I had to switch arms but I had to carry it on my shoulder and then I need I was just wrap both arms around it it was f****** hilarious that m*********** was coming home with me lol.
