Dang, sorry Joe. That's a good long life. I love black cats. We had a few growing up. Except for the one that went missing, they all liveday to be 15-16 years. Our black cats always had "Sam" in their names too. Samson, Samuel, and Samantha. Just kind of a tradition I guess.

Great pic with the wings. RIP Lucky.

Last week the realtor said there was a new underwriter working on the short sale that seemed more motivated then the last. We had to send in updated pre-approved financing and bank balances.

Friday the realtor said the sellers bank is asking for another full appraisal of the property. They already had the broker-drive-by appraisal and a full appraisal about 2 months ago. Not sure what they think the value is going to change to...... :hmmm:

I guess some action is better than no action, someone it looking at it.

Well... hopefully the appraisal works in your favor and they decide to proceed with selling you the house. Good luck Joe, my fingers are crossed for you!

Noooo! I'm so sorry to hear about Lucky. Growing up we had a black cat named Murphy that was all kind of awesome. He had a bit of a cat food belly though, which would sway from left to right when he trotted around the house. Come to think of it, that sorta came in handy during the winter months... heh.

I sure hope you're surviving, sending good appraisal vibes. :nugget:

Thank you. No appraisal has been scheduled, I don't know what they are waiting for.....

I can literally see my bank account growing week by week which is really f'n awesome. That is the only positive of this right now.

We looked at 2-3 other houses this past week and none of them have the 'feel' of home or have the 'price' of home for us.

Still trucking along. This weekend we get to take the camper camping, so that's fun! Nothing like living at home in a camp ground for the weekend. Lots of beer will be processed this weekend and maybe a couple pounds of beef jerky too. nom nom nom

My wife rolled past the house we are waiting for, checkout how long the grass is! The neighbors are pissed but if I was that seller I wouldn't be spending any time or money there either.....

If it looks like that when we get to buy it, I will have to hire someone to deal with that mess. This house is the NEWEST on the block and looks the shittiest. This bank doesn't give 2 shits.

It sure does! hahahahah

Here is some good news.... we withdrew our offer on that short sale house ONLY because a bad ass house for sale by owner came on the market.

Stretching out our budget and making it a 30yr loan, this house stomps out the other one. Seller accepted our offer on the 17th and closing mid August.

Awesome news man!!! Coincidentally, our landlord just called me today and finally told us they'd sell it to us! And it's less than we expected!!!

Such a relief ain't it??? Now just gotta hope the process goes well. Good luck the rest of the way!!!
