AC power cord for JVC RC-828 JW

Hi. I'm looking for an AC power cord for a JVC RC-828 JW.
The springloaded flange inside the port is on the left side on the RC 828.

Would this same power cord work for the 828?

Is there a "right" way for the plug to be facing when it's plugged in?

my sharp gf 9696 has the same fitting. and no it doesn't matter which way it goes in. its strange why they did this. coz the sharp gf 9494 has the standard fitting. the only thing you'll find is the standard plug doesn't push in the battery switch very good and you have to move the plug about to get it to come on
