A tribute to my dad

As you guys know my dad recently passed away and I recently acquired a beautiful Crown 950. Today I thought would be a good day to play one of my dad's fave tracks on her. The excitement of owning this beautiful machine is starting to kick in.

It's all down to you guys for giving me the motivation, so a huge thanks to everyone who gave me the will to start enjoying my new chrome chunk☺ This is for you Dad,I'M sure you'll love every second of it...20160213_162149.jpg

Extremely sad news Az. My condolences to you and your family. I lost my stepfather a year ago. He raised me from a youngin' and music was part of his life as much as mine. I found it very healing to listen to his music during times of sadness

A very touching tribute my friend. I'm sure he'd be touched by your thoughts.

Every time I want to connect musically with my pops I play Hotel California by the Eagles. Brings tears to my eyes and a sme to my soul every time.

Thanks for all the comments guys I'm touched, yes my dad was a hip cat howie, he died aged 64 with the body of an 80 year old but the mind and soul of someone much younger. I know for sure if he was here now he would still be jamming out he's rock music and cracking jokes as I remember :-)

Awesome track Az, very cool. And the 950 looks gorgeous, loving those responsive LEDs. 64 is young to go these days, so sorry for your loss Az, just remember him from better times mate

Thanks a lot Si for the kind words mate,yeah lovely led's on the 950...I'm starting to enjoy her now, much more than I expected sound wise and the most blingy box I got.

I asked my kids which was better looking between the Crown and my Hitachi 8200, I was stunned when they said the Hitachi lol...kids these days eh☺
