I'm of the opinion that anything is worth what people will pay for it. In the case of the GF9000 (one of my very favorites) its worth every penny.

can i just say when i found a boombeat 40 in the wild it costed me $18
i was told buy some one you dont have a clue what you have and said yea boombeat 40
he told me to post it on here so i did
and f..k me the amount of offers over $2000 was amazing
so one from germany offered $3000 eros
it was then i realalized that boombox collecting was all about what the person wanted and not the money
i also got a lot of $500 offers
and if you dont have the money to spend then you cannot have
so dont cry just be happy with what you have
as i now have solar panels on my roof and no boombeat 40
so you see trades work too its not just about the money
and yes at over 300 boomboxes im happy with what i have payed but that ant your problem is it
so get of the computer and show us what you have
i dont give a flyying f..k want you payed because i bet you i payed less
ooo did u all see the break dancing baby bloody funny :breakdance:

I agree with you there. I've been offered $3000 for my NIB GF-777Z but said no. And trades? Holy cow did they come out the woodwork with those! Only one stood out and I'm still waiting on it. ( :super: ) I'd rather give it to somebody who's going to enjoy it and not just leave it on a shelf.
