R.I.P. RadioShack

So.... I went to RadioShack today, and what do ya know, they had solder!!! In fact, they had more Solder than I had ever seen before, I was amazed.

But, and thus could just be mine, but I asked about recycling dead used batteries, the guy told me they take all rechargeables, besides car batteries, but do not accept Alkalines. that sucks...

The guy at batteries plus told me the same thing. Said only the city takes alk's. Strange

Yeah, I wonder why.... oh well. I'm glad to see they got a bunch of stuff on the shelves again. It was totally remodeled in there too.

Not all the radio shack stores closed, there a bunch near me still open

the future of the limited remaining stores is very IFFY -
they are still open and waiting for a 6 month trail period -
if this fails they will ALL be gone-
so
support the shack if you want any to last
