Here is the second part of my Crown boomers.

Lets start with the classic: Crown CSC-850L.
It looks very cool, sounds decent and is very recognizable.

Next is the Crown CSC-980L.
Basically its the same radio with square grills.
But it has some additional features I wish the 850 had, too.

All swithes and buttos on top are chrome which looks so much better than the grey plastic ones on the 850.
The 980 has 4 FM presets wich can be adjusted via screws on the right side of the radio.
The tape deck comes with Dolby and Metal position and instead of Mic Mixing it has a Rec. Volume poti with seperate top part to adjust left and right channel independently.
The 850 might win in the looks department but tech-wise the 980 is the better boombox.

And finally my Crown CSC-350L.
The passive radiator design is very similar to the Pioneer SK-900.
It also comes with Dolby, Metal position and it has a title search system.
