im with glue 100% on his 100% with mono=
the s90 plays deeeeeeeeeeep - :yes:
then the case rattles if we bump it up too loud

WHOA!!! :-O Gotta add the Aiwa CS-75X to the list... This box has some surprisingly deep bass and great distortion free highs!

My national rx-xe550 like a rx-c300 but bigger. Very rare to see but it is of the highest quality.

i know i dont have much to compare it to....but my newly acquired telefunken cr100 sounds pretty damn good at low to medium volume!!! beautiful, rich, full sound

my clairtone 7980 really doesnt have a low volume. it goes from "quiet" to "turn that sh*t down!" with a quickness.....

GZ -- you are spot on // dead on balls --right :yes: :yes:

that cr100 is a fabulous low volume box -
--and i have a very similar - but smaller tele 1600
that also has tremendous low volume bass

i guess telefunken rules -- about that :-)
