This has got to be a scam. Someone the seller knows has to have bumped this sale to $500 in the first 6 hours of the auction:

That's what I was thinking too. Either way, that b***r bidder won't be paying for it.71spud said:Was there a reserve on the auction? Otherwise I don't see how that bidder could have bid himself up to $500.
Yes we would. From the looks of it, the $500 was the reserve price, so every other bid he placed is now visible.blu_fuz said:It is a very clean M70, looks brand new honestly...... Even if that bidder was trying to find the reserve we wouldn't be able to see the amounts he bid up to, right?

Hey, Bobby...why don't you get it for parts since you need the aluminum strip?
Right! Surprised I don't see "reserve price met" anywhere.71spud said:It does not make sense unless there was a reserve and the high bidder was trying to find it.

You all must have a short memory. It wasn't all that long ago that a "mint" M70 sold for over $900 although that one did have the carton.
This one does apear to be an excellent example.
I understand a lot of you guys wouldn't pay nearly that much for an M70. But then again, a lot of folks think $300 if far too much to pay for an M90 too.
