Let me know what you have.

I use my red DJ tech while we camp, go to the pool and the beach. She is getting some serious battle scars and on its 3rd or 4th battery now and had some circuit repairs. I want to continue using this red one but I also want one to keep at the house.

Any of you have one to let go? Doesn't have to be mint, but I would like it fully working.

Let me know, thanks!!

Do I need to trade a vintage blaster to someone for a DJ Tech? I'm open to ideas. Let me know.

I saw a Diamond Boxx on local Facebook marketplace a few days ago and got prematurely excited thinking it was the DJ Tech. I thought I was gonna have good news for you. :dunce: :-/

If you do find one blu-fuz, ask about the USB port. That is the biggest weakness of these. Their current draw limits are posted on the face of the port. Unfortunately, cell phones don't always respect the power limit when plugged in and there's no power protection circuitry inside. What happens is, people plug their phone into the USB port versus a thumb drive. The phone pulls too much current in an attempt to charge and it burns out the 5V supply rail on the USB port rendering it useless. Sometimes it takes the SD-Card slot with it.

I watch my radio like a hawk. If I see someone approaching my DJ-Tech with a cell phone charger in hand, I spring into action! The USB port was mainly intended for playing MP3 on a thumb drive. I guess you can't blame folks. They may have music on their phone and figure they can play their music and charge their phone at the same time. But that's a no no with this radio. Others have no issues like the mini M90. In a way, it is a design flaw of the DJ-Tech radio. Not everyone may have had this happen but it increases the likelihood of damage to the USB port to use it for charging.

Seems like USB ports and touch screens draw people in like an incandescent bulb does insects at night. Seems like everyone has a phone they want charged or a screen they want to touch no matter where you are..lol

I actually do know this quite well. When you blow the micro resistor by using the USB for a phone/mp3 cord to charge or play music off of said phone/ipod, the radio just cycles on/off/on/off/on/off non stop rendering the radio useless and a paperweight. My micro resistor has been blown twice and now I have a piece of tape over the USB slot that says "NO USB" written on it so it never gets used again. You can see the blue tape in some of my photos. It is a achilles heel of the DJ Tech, so everyone beware!
