So, last night I was messing with this radio, I pushed the alarm button to see if it worked, then walked away. Came back a few hours later and went to pick the box up!

HOLY F!@#$%^ is that thing LOUD! It was on my workbench and my face was right in front of it and with the new mids and highs in it, DAMN it hurt AND scared the crap out of me!

So, yes, the alarm works!

With my J1 and now the Helix....this house is secure! :yes: :thumbsup: :lol: :lol: :lol:

vu meters are cool from what i could tell.

damn sumbitches now i got to go to work them big evil tweeters to keep up with the joneses. these custom boxes really start to howl once they reach the 50lb mark lol.

i love seeing the big black boxes with lots of room inside to add **** ,makes my day.

killer outcome .

OH, man....I have to add about 26 more lbs to this radio before it will be JVCFloyd Loud!

Yeah man, it's weak with only 2 of the 3 led's working. Mac Daddy Freshness has the same box and his works and looks fine.

Awesome job on that baby! Man all your hard work and expertise is paying off BIG TIME. It sounds pretty dam boomy, and crisp, looks clean too, I love the Helix boxes, I saw MacDaddyFreshness with his at the Beat swapmeet and now yours, I gotta find me one of these!

Thanks man, It's coming along. I'm still working on it, working out details. I have been cleaning it allot. Everytime I work on it, I break out the toothbrush and get into the crevices and it's starting to look fresh! This radio has so many lines in the design that hold dirt.

One of the last things is to fix or mod the LED display. I have to get some LED's
