Today i get my new refoamed speaker from the "Lautsprecherklinik" a speaker repair shop.
The speaker specialist replaced the surrounds with new Infinity surrounds and now the sound are wooooofertastic!!!!

Speakers look great! Thats one box you definitely fix almost anything to get up and running.......it just sounds too good.

He cut it out, replace the old surounds with the new Infinity surrounds and centering it before he glue in the new surrounds

Wow love when some bad technical disaster is becoming wonderful upgrade. Was so sorry to hear about cut woofer in your old tread Andre. Now i know it was whit purpose . Its amazing - you have better sound and meaner looking M90 .

thats bad ass , i know the m90 power it can pump out some bass and with the new foams probably allows for a lot more controlled cone excursion and more of it before it hits distortion ,thats if it distorts at all . i would have rather have seen the speaker guy mount the foam edge to the back of the cone as to make the cones look bigger and the foam look smaller ,even though it would work basically the same but wtf you can't have it all

all in all a very worthy repair for the old war horse ,it's hard to make the m90 sound better , but not impossible

Fantastic recovery, Andre!! And that the sound has improved is even more killer!

Is there a possibility the original surrounds get more stiff with age and then they eventually tear?

Looking forward to doing this to one of mine when that day comes!!

Aside from that, looks like they did a great job. Did you notice any real difference in the bass?
