Which boombox is the most powerful

So I was playing my 4 ohm Sony speakers through the 6ohm jvcpc55 fairly loudly while cleaning around the house and the boombox eventually just went dead. No power when the main power button is pressed. I thought I smelled a faint burning smell through the top vents. Did I damage my amp or hopefully just blow a fuse or something? Thx.

Well, the Panasonic AN7161 amps in that JVC are in fact rated for use as low as 4 ohms. So maybe it was a different chip that burned up, like the rectifier. Won't know until you look though.

In this category id have to put in National RX XE series… like RX-XE550F and the National RX-C300 (non Panasonic USA) - These sets use 2X STK4311 (2x28W) in BTL for high power… (power consumption rated 250W)

Sony’s FH series are all up in the running too as well as some of Sharps larger boxes and the rare Technics boxes

Sony FH-909R 45W+45W. Or if you like the sticker...340W (Possibly, Maybe, Probably, Obfuscated)
