Over the years there have been many many threads on here regarding new radio's as they appear (and disappear) in the marketplace.
So I want to know, WHAT WOULD YOU REALLY PAY IF....
(Please forgive me as I am not an expert on modern boomboxes, just giving some examples)
Kaboom's hit the market in the 90's (IMHO) as the first attempt to "Improve" the sound quality of the boombox, but for many, the design was unapealing.
Lasonic re-entered the market a few years back as an "Entry Level Pricing" radio, although most agreed it was a classic design, they didn't like the quality (Keep your hater shiat attitude in check or I will delete your posts! :annoyed: )
The TDK quickly followed as a sleek modern design but was ripe with electronics problems. This was a very expensive radio, up words of $750 for the top tier model.
The Pioneer Steez and a Sharp tubes have also followed with a lackluster welcoming and classic design short falls.
Most recently, the Diamond Box. A modern take, all aluminum bluetooth "Box". If you read the thread, it comes with mixed reviews and a hefty price tag of $1,000.
So, if you had the money to spend and a radio hit the marketplace that satisfied your Minds Eye, incorporating the EYE POPPING classic design with cutting edge components and sound performance, how much would you pay?
