Hey man, does it have to be a 777 or would consider 767, I have a 767 which im thinking about moving on but it does need work.

As I told you,I didn't trust too much of the 2 seller..I asked him to send me some photos of the sharp 777. He told me that it misses only 1 grill,but looking at the photo it seems that this 777 misses also some buttons (dubbing,tape 2 select..) and that echo knob doesn't convince me..or is this a bad photo?I have just asked him some informations,maybe he had taken a bad picture...but looking at it..

It's missing the volume knob and some switches. the echo isn't original either. i have all of them except the volume. i'd get it if i was you. tell him $300 or forget it. good luck.ea1987 said:

Frequently, the doors are removed because the pegs that hold the door in place are worn causing the doors to jam up and making it hard or impossible to eject properly. Replacing the doors will not solve that issue. Can't tell you if that is the case. I can see at least 3 of the pegs are in place (the rightmost peg is hard to see in that pic). What I can't tell is whether they are worn.

Honestly, I would wait for better GF-777 boomboxes. The one with the missing doors appears to have complete tape mechanisms, but replacement doors are difficult to find.
There's NO WAY I would pay even $300 for the first one with the missing speaker grille and buttons.
Have patience, Andrea. It took me almost two years to find the right GF-777.

I agree with Bobby not only are doors missing but it's all scratched up. The GF777 is a very common box and you should be able to get a clean working one for around $500!!!!!Fatdog said:Honestly, I would wait for better GF-777 boomboxes.

Ok,but it's very hard to find one in Italy..I have seen some on other ebay,far from me and that anyway reach high price and you have to consider also a shipment to Italy and all its risks!!I would like to live in your beautiful country!!!
About scratches,looking at the other pictures it seems that it has only those on the top part!The seller anyways seems a trust person..

The hinge tabs for the deck doors seems fine in the pics but as said are you going to be willing to live with all those scratches or maybe paint it which will make the unit non original. Plus you still have to get doors with springs. The decks seem clean!!! If it were me I would wait to see if something better comes alongea1987 said:
