GB you need to ajust the tape pots in your m90 then you will find a pc55 on full tilt is the same as a m90 on half voll and changing the speakers makes a big diff aswell :-)

Hi Tim-Your probably right BUT I haven't had the guts to push it(M-90) past 7.5 on the volume so it's probably the same-the 55's are quite incredible for those small speakers!!

Hi Master Z-Those 8989II's are really loud aren't they!! They'll surprise you & yes I think they sound better on full new Duracell D's!! It really seems like it.I've had one for many years!!
Bought an original brand new in 1981'!! Nice & loud!!

My loudest one: Sharp GF9696 powered by 14 sub-C NiMh accus ( approx 18 Volts DC )
It goes so loud that my ears feel pain and its amp section became glowing :-D

i once saw that and it was not bad,

but i hadve a modified

IMG-1007 X

that runs on plutunium

well it has some watts...

Have a party in our company.
