What does a sanyo mx920 compare to in sound

Yes i have one on the way, never had a sanyo before apart from a 9998 wich the cassette diddn't work so i gave it away , the radio sounded sweet but is the sanyo mx 920 anywhere near as good also how many d cells does it take thanks.

tim - the 920 takes 10 Ds

its a slightly bigger sound than the 9998 --
but the 9998 has a little better//deeper bass

also - the 920 is extreme great looking

I think the speaks are 6.5 inch or about 18cm, they aren't 8" or 20cm.
The 920 is an awesome looker although it's not quite as big as you might think, the sound is nice it's just not going to whip the big boys.

Overall it's a very pleasing box.
