At work.
Not many in the office today, so I'm playing my iPod through my Hitachi TRK8200.

I've got a GF777 right next to me which sounds alot better, but I just like the sound of this Hitachi. It's a good, honest mid>full-size boombox. It suits 80s music very well.
It's a bit light on the bass, but I think that about just about every boobox short of a Kaboom :-)

Listening (at a sensible level, it's early) to the GF9494, an old cassette with 'Phantom 309' by Red Sovine!

Just now I've been cranking JT's excellent Time Travelling mix on my M-70 while making dinner.

Damn good cookin' music!

Rock On.

Had my iriver set to wake me up this morning on line in to RUN-DMC, - when "My Adidas" came through my 8200 I was wide awake way faster than my crappy alarm clock could ever manage!

Friday night it was Juice Newton on this Sony CFD-444, a recent Salavation Army thrift find. Not the biggest sound, but love the vertical CD player. (Yeah, it still works!) =quote]

Thanks for reminding me! I found one of those at goodwill also. Actually I find the 444 is louder than some other boxes in its class. It has a nice line-in and solid but not abundant bass. Nice EQ also. It has a cool very dated look also ("CD" wow :-P ) If I can find mine I'll take it to work with me today

Lounging in my back yard, with my Hitachi TRK-8600, on this delightful 59º (F) Sunday afternoon in May, enjoying the cool breeze and Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side"... on Detroit's classic rock station, WCSX 94.7FM. Ahhhh! :-P
