Cookin' out on the patio on a warm Sunday afternoon... listening to 101.1 WRIF (http://www.wrif.com) on the radio, as I watch my trusty Contec 8913 melt from the heat of the grill... Mmmmm. The scent of steaks & styrene in the air!

Got this box as change for an old micro hifi system.
Not really an beauty, but analog VU´s, expanded stereo, 4 wavebands, timerclock,...

There's a certain style & dignity about these old, no-nonsense small/midsize boomers. The looks don't promise much , but often they were built very well.

But the design is a littlebit..... strange (in my eyes).

Very good ViennaSound......I have one of those.
Sharp Model WQ-T352. Sometimes known as the Back-2-Back radio because although it looks like a single-tape box, the cassette deck takes two tapes. One of the decks is a bit basic on functionality though......
Right now though, my 777 is exercising the woofers!

Very good sound!
I've got one. One of my favorites! Super-thumpy bass. Nice and loud. Rugged look. First class all the way!
Best of all, this girl has one, too. From the look on her face, I think she likes it. Can't blame her!
