Firing up this one today. Actually this is a To be Continued from yesterday when I fell asleep while doodling on the tablet at the kitchen table. The Conion was sitting on the counter already (in it's usual spot when it's in the kitchen) so I'm using it again today :-)

Was taking my Toshiba RT-6015 out in the evening, had a nice play outside with it. Not too loud, but fills the garden with sound.

Friday night it was Juice Newton on this Sony CFD-444, a recent Salavation Army thrift find. Not the biggest sound, but love the vertical CD player. (Yeah, it still works!)
Yes those Sony CFD models are decent. I have a Sony CFD-440 at home. I would not really recommend them if you have already taste superior sound experience with other, more expensive models. They are just fine and worth getting for a bargain price less than $40.

Well I'm sitting here on the couch. Rocking to some Warlock on the Panny rx-5010. Bought this cause I read about bad boy Bill gushing all about it. At first I thought what's he talking about,I mean its okay. I've seen alotta his boomers and the guy knows quality. So I dug out some Maxwell XLII's and made some fairly powerful recordings of Heart and Jefferson Starship, plus the above mentioned Warlock. Also cleaned the capstan and pinchroller plus degaussed the head. Now this little thing sounds pretty darn good. Yeah for a tone box its alright. Thanks Bill.👍👍
