I've been listening to my 8290s right now because my neighbors are home :-) I'll rock my only beast tonight

Oh and I saw another RT-8290s on Ebay. This was my first box and will always be special, but for real, the build quality is incredible!! Plus the deck is very easy to maintain and get to. This is perfect for any beginner. It was enough for me to catch a habit! Sound is also good...well for 5" woofers...so good for it's size.

I think its the only one I've seen in the two years since I bought mine. I'm not constantly on EBAY though. I got mine a little cheaper and there were NO mechanical problems with my unit. The belts needed to be replaced quickly though (thanks Superlew).

That bad boy has really grown on me over the last year or so. Love it, bro.

Just heard the Australian Cricket flog New Zealand in the Cricket World Cup on my military spec Hitachi TRK-9150W.

I'm real picky on build quality and this Hitachi ticks all the boxes except for bling! :-)
