My tech is going to check it out.

Where did you get the SW version from? I have only seen AM/FM in Au before.
It was a random pick up. Can't remember exactly, I've come across a few.
I've got a door for your 5150 btw. It's in the roof, just have to find it. Send me a pm with your address and I'll get it off to you when I get the chance

the sears 2199 while taking the pic, but I prefer the sound of my beat-to-hell Blockbuster, it may have lived a week submerged in a creek, but daaaaam that thing rocks.

My Lasonic TRC-935 at 3/4 volume. Rocking to some Classic Van Halen. LOVE this song. It always picks me up.

Great Van Halen footage from "Tha Fuzz". If you wanted to see pretty girls lose their bra's in a hurry in the early 80's you went to a Van Halen concert. The stage would be littered with them.

Hi everyone, I just packed up my Panasonic RX-CW43 that I got new as a kid after that my HIFI amp broke down.

I have been into highend hifi alot but for some reason the boombox sound is more suited for how the music from the 80's should sound.
I been playing some ordiginal tapes I had, Deflepard, MJ Bad and TopGun soundtrack, then going over a box with mixtapes.

I also played some on the input that I think suits a boombox.

I also just bought a Sharp GF 800 on a local Ebay site, looked like new on the pics, I talked to the old man that owned it, he said everything worked and it had hardly been used. I payed 15$ for it but the shipment costs another 20$ or so I guess :-)

It's interesting how many people say this.
I guess the brain has an 'ear-memory' for how things used to sound... :-)
