If you paid with paypal chances are you could get a full refund but the bad part is you will have to pay the return shipping.

Im sorry to hear of your misfortune, But from now on ask about ebay sellers here because we would have talked you right out of dealing with that seller.
You are not the first member on here that got burned by him.

:agree: plenty people have had misfortune with this seller.

Im sorry to read this it must be so hard on such a yuoungun like yourself, i have just lost a box and it wasn't a grail like this but yea it hurts every time, good luck with the repairs :-/

I am so happy to see all of us helping out mmcodomino!

It feels exactly like when you have a little brother as a freshman in High School and you're already in College, and somebody threatened to beat him up or give him a hard time and you go visit him at recess to see who the little sucker is... Love it!
We have to stick together for mmcodomino, remember he's our youngest member!!! Trust eBay will help you out, they'll help. Do the hard work of taking the pictures, etc. and it'll pay off at the end...

Good luck with her, Mmcodomino.
There may be hope for her yet, the GF-777 is a mucho popular box and finding parts
should be far less of a challenge than finding replacements for a lot of other models.

Sorry to hear about the snafu with shipping your GF-777, compadre. If you choose to take the risk, you kinda have to take part of the responsibility. I've been in your position before with my 777 and looked upon it as an opportunity, since it would never be stock, of making it my first upgrade. Since this guy has a rep and return shipping is not an option, I would probably give him the lowest feedback possible and get to work. :yes:

The person I bought from was in FLA (don't get me started on that state... :lol: ) and she just blew me off and said "ship it back if you don't like it." So I said "screw you" (or words to that effect) and gave her a shite feedback.

Now I've got a Bbox I wouldn't trade the world for! :breakdance:

Thank you for all your advise and support! I really appreciate it :-)

I brought it to the repair shop today since I cannot fix the radio string in there and I have no idea about the speakers, it probably might be just some contact-spray as some of you said.
The broken parts can bet set in again quite easily and i am fine with a fixed shell.
The repair shop said it would probably cost around 150 Euros to make it work properly again. I really hope to get that amount back from the seller since I won't pay the shipping back. :nonono:
Lesson learned: Don't buy from China. :-/

The next boomboxes (if I ever get any more :-P ) are going to be bought here on Boomboxery hopefully :-) :yes:

Thanks again. I think it will all come out good. Photos of a repaired unit coming soon! :-) Cause I will definitely let it be fixed, otherwise it looks pretty darn MINT :-) AND the stickers on it are not fake, they are the originaly I think, they do not look pixeled and the Sharp has a slightly different font than the replacement ones. I think they are real.

It sucks man...but that is one of the main risks buying from China....

Like it was said before, we have all been hit regardless of where it came from but as Norm (Superduper) noted, the money you'll spend to return it per eBay/PayPal policies would be better applied to fixing it. The good part of this is that 777's are like blades of grass...everywhere. :-)

So if you can get the internals working, you should have no problems getting the shell parts. :-)

Okay, I just got to know that the 100$ refund from the Chinese seller arrived on the PayPal account.
It might not be enough for all the fixings but it should pay most of it. :-)

I wish you the best of luck in fixing it. There is a lot of very knowlegable people on this forum who I am sure are willing to give you advice if needed. That's the really great thing about this community.

well i think he should have sent a bit more but its better than nothing and as the guys here said before you can find parts for the 777 :yes: :yes: even if you have to get a beater you might be able to score one cheap for the parts :-)
