I just created a new avatar for my profile.

I mean seriously, i am driving a 1960 VW, collect 80s boomboxes, like cassettes better than MP3s...was I born too late?

The slide top is awesome in the summer! And currently it is painted in 2 types of green, yes I'm planning to dress him as a Herbie this fall though

Wait, if you were born 50-70 years earlier, you would have been an old man in the boombox golden age
And I think it is a good thing that you were born when you were born because otherwise we would not have this awesome boombox forum Thanks for that

Just like me-I've been in the 80's since the 80's!! I'm serious-I love the 80's-music,boomboxes,cars and lots more.
I even have all of my 80's clothes!!

BTW-If you dress up your car like Herbie-I'll send a photo to Lindsay Lohan for her to look at.maybe she'll comment on it!
I love the old VW's!! My friend had many! He even had an old Baja bug!!

You're actually very valuable to our hobby and born at the right time to help it thrive.We really need more young people promoting it.A lot of marketing is focused on the younger crowd.If you get others involved perhaps you'll start a trend.This would be good for those of us who would like to see manufacturers bring back the classic looks of the Golden Era of boxes.

Too late born is the wrong defination, i think so.
I´m born 1975, have some memories of the 80´s.
For example i have seen most of those boxes new in the shop windows.
But too expensive to buy. :'-(
Now we can get the most ones for cheap (except real grails).
The same with the cars.

So bring back the 80´s in 2010 and have some fun:
