Walkman or ipod/mp3 player

Well I Love the sound of my JVC's But my Phone is the iPhone so it is with me everywhere

...the Cowon J3 will smoke ANY cassette based walkman out there... ...at least to my humble ears, and the battery lasts about 50+ hours with expandable memory and several equalization choices to adjust the sound to your personal taste. For on-the-go listening a Walkman simply can't compete with todays technology...although I will admit that the Walkman does have a unique sound that will always keep it relevant to purists.

Easy way to get some high quality sound
is to use a good portable CD player
good ear phones and
pop in a CD.

Or get a good Walkman with dolby and pop in a prerecorded tape

Donno if my cheap mp3 player plays FLAC
but should be like a CD.
