Thanks goodman. I certainly have been giving it the durability test. They likely didn't intend on the cassette player being used for hours every day, so we'll see how it holds up. I'm definitely taking it to the beach this year.
Maybe I am looking at this thing through rose-tinted glasses but, what I can say is that this radio has made my wife happy as well.
