one owner of a an M70, i think, likes it better than the M90, but ever since seeing the 90 on the cover of LL cooljay's record, i've always liked it just for its looks... fairly symmetrical, understated graphics, and for me, "real boomboxes" have VU meters.

still, there's a "mystery king" out there, ironically enough that might be a crown or have a crown logo that came out around 1992-93 that was extra tacky looking with fake gold on black trim and that had HUGE, allegedly, according to the salesman, 12" woofers i still think were 10", but i KNOW the box dwarfed the stolen lasonic TRC-935 i was trying to replace. with a pair of larger than 8" woofs, it had to move some air down low.

sadly, no amount of keyword searching has gotten me even to RUMORS that such a box existed. it was the same day i actually saw the even tackier "lady gaga/madonna"

maybe it's the "queen of boomboxes".

it's the closest thing to proof i have of the mysterious 2x12 "king". i only know of its existence from my trip to the stero store.

BTW... that avatar gives me impure thoughts
