and how do you like/love the sound of that marantz ?

Found some CTS 12" and kaltro tweeters in a set of large homemade boxes (hard rubbish), the little marantz did a better job of driving them over most of my larger amps. The speaker boxes for the little marantz need a rebuild and the lcd is faulty but the amp is a little champ.

Question: apart from geoffhartwell (I think he had one) has anyone seen the digital tuning model, I know glue had the non digital model.

when i got that same marantz ( but with the analogue tuner )
my speakers were the pits --but - i had read from some members -
about how great this model sounded -
so i took the $$ shot to get them refoamed by our pro shop

and now they sound TREMENDOUS !!!

so - advising you to have your speakers done --
and promise you will be forever joyful

my problem is the actual boxes have split at the rear so these need to be rebuilt, I was looking around and was thinking of mounting a passive radiator in the new boxes (when made) like the akai pj-33. Might fit some dome tweeters as well + I have about 10 pairs of x-overs form various projects. I think, with a heavily modified speaker this could be an outstanding boomer.

RBJ do you have the rear cover for yours?
