I received my JVC M70 yesterday! SO, so, so excited!
The radio is fully functional, strong, and great-sounding! The only thing missing is the cassette counter reset button. I am on the hunt for a replacement. Since everything is functioning I decided not to open her up until I find the replacement counter, so I spent several hours giving her a thorough exterior cleaning - soaked the knobs and sliders - cleaned all of those connections - and she already shines pretty nice! I am assuming this was used by a house painter at some point because there was some light paint speckling on it. I was able to get a good deal of it off last night - but some remains. I'll attempt to clean the rest of it once I do take it all apart. I would also like to repaint the speaker grills and clean (or possibly repaint) the speakers themselves.
