My RT-SF5 tuner is misbehaving.
For some reason, it will tune in the station (green LED lights up) but the FM Stereo light flickers and the reception sound is noisy. All other bands are similar (MW, SW1, SW2) - able to get a station tuned in, but noisy as well. Switched to MONO and no change.
When I play a tape, no noise or static at all.
I took the unit apart and cleaned the variable capacitor after removed the clear plastic cover; but no change.
Any ideas?
