there are very effective vents - -

Ira, put this on!!! I thought you were my "ACE" Sansui student...Sin, Monchito, Fatdog...to the front of the class! Ira, take your corner!!!

Those "round thingies" as I have said over and over again are 'Passive Radiators"!!!

hey -- just thought of something funny (for a change)--------------

have had the cp7 for only 30 hours --
and have already had 2 (YES TWO) rimmer moments

the 2nd most funny --is thinking the round thingies were vents-
----------------------------------------------
the 'first most funny' -happened yesterday --100% true story ::

i was thinking how beautiful , classy and impressive this box looks-
and just then --noticed some equally classy looking chicks -- heading toward the beach -

and there was still a few hours left in the day -- for sun--

so - quick as a flash---
i whipped out my 8 D cells -
loaded up --
ready for the premier CC experiment

one quick pre-test --
but ONLY a FEW lights and the phone jack worked on the D cells - NO speaker sound


lucky for me (and the chicks)
it was a rare moment when oldy was home and 'PM responsive'

when i told him that this POS CP-7 model was an over-rated crap-can
that didnt really work on batteries--

he kindly advised me to use the rear AC/DC SWITCH
and ---yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Rim, regarding the RX-C100, I just plugged her in and forgot about it, came in two days later she plays like a dream.

Trying to sort out my RX-C60 now.

Speaking of Panasonics (Not to hikjack Ira's thread of course! ) see the for sale section for you RX-DT680 devotees!!! Need a part (other than a remote, and my wife lost mine :annoyed: ) have a look.

Great. Now you ARE having a Rimmer moment by 1. Asking Ira for advice to resolve a problem...which he has as well and 2. be willing to part with cash for said advice.

Rimmer, it's a feat in itself to make Ira look smart. (Standing an infant next to him often helps.) But you my friend have broken the code. Tell you what, you stand next to Ira. It'll help you out!

heres the deal:::
in both theory and reality-
and for every type of human,
its of great value to have several rimmer moments

they are by far - the most memorable

without them - life is boring and predictable |-) |-)
with them ----- life is fun and exciting

therefor -
my advice --to achieve maximum balance.....
we NEED them // and we need some breaks in - between.

ie - we cant have a rimmer moment , every moment

i say --4 per week is fine
