So many boomboxes but as long as you have room,keep getting them-it's fun,no doctor needed!!
Have a great time with them-fix em if you can yourself-it's cheap!

Boombox collecting is a virus, no doctor can help!
btw doctor: Always repair such "cheap" units yourself. They are not worth to take to a repair shop.
The belts should be replaced quite easy.
Have you a shop that sells belts?
If not let me know.
I have a radioworkershop, selling belt - kits.
Would bring you a kit to the dessau meeting.

I would love to have a Telefunken, with or without a working tape deck. I've heard they sound great, but very scarce on this side of the ocean.

Yeah, don't overlook the smaller boomboxes. They're not as loud as the big ones, obviously, but some of them sound very good. I used to have a very nice sounding small Sanyo, but the radio tuner died and I gave it away. I probably could have fixed it, but I was afraid to try. I'm looking for another one like it.
