Today I walked over a local flea market and ended up with 4 new boomboxes :lol: .
All ridiculously cheap and all handy somehow.

Number 1: A Siemens Club...something...in black. Rather small. Radio works fine but the tape deck is 100% dead. You don't even hear a motor sound :sadno:

Number 2: A 2 tape deck Telefunken with bass boost. It is what you would call a mini and looks quite modern so i guess it is a late boombox. It has a line in which is very handy but both tape deck are dead..deck two barely moves when i press FF or REW...I think all the belts are :thumbsdown:

Number 3: Now it is getting nice. The smallet boombox i have ever seen. a Sony with a radio and one tape deck. The tape deck works 100% :w00t: :-D It is mono but sounds really good for such a small speaker.

Number 4: Probably the best score. A Universum unit with detachable speakers. It looks pretty darn MINT and came with the opriginal manual. Only bad thing: the tape deck does not play (but FF and REW) cause of an old belt...duh. :lol: It sound VERY good though and I like it most of all.

All in all I paid 27,50€ for all of them. I think it was a fair deal.
The Universum might go to the repair shop for the belt soon but I think I am going to leave the other ones alone. The Telefunken is maybe going to be re-sold because I was told it was fully functional. The Siemens club might be re-sold, too but I doubt that someone is interested in it... :-/

Oh, and Ira, I think I got really lucky today but I also think that the more valuable finds can be made on your fleamarkets :yes: .
I actually almost bought a bigger one but it has the back cover coming off, screws missing, and an edge was melted and I doubt that it was working.

And too less space to get them all. :lol:

Dubbing is copying a tape, right? Well, both tape decks are dead ;-)
The GF777 should do the job :-)

I think you are right about that^^...I might end up in an ocean of boomboxes :lol:
My parents think I should seriously consider visiting a doctor :lol: :-P But i am happy with them :yes:

Now as far as the doctor thing-your all right.
Now me with having 100 boomers by the end of next month-I may need a doctor. :-O
So many boomboxes but as long as you have room,keep getting them-it's fun,no doctor needed!! :-P :lol:
Have a great time with them-fix em if you can yourself-it's cheap!
