For the Crown CSC-850L, I can't buy it. The seller doesn't ship.
I'm waiting for the photos of 9494.

The Crown 850 is easily damaged in shipping. If someone hits those chrome bars, the plastic case will crack.

The Crown is nicer than Sharp. Aesthetically I preferred it.
For the Sharp I don't like the grills (rectangular) over the speakers.

Why not getting a crown 950 (if you do not mind the analog vu meters)
Estimated price in near mint condition less than 200 euro.
I have to agree with the others sharp 9494 great looking box.
As far as value concerning a collector can estimate whatever he wants on price
For example i snatched a near mint aiwa 950 for less than 80 euro (on ebay you will see this going for 200 in bad and beaten condition)
So i learned in here that everything is relevant and you have to be on the lookout.Cheap does not actually mean bad,it may mean that the one selling does not care about money so much..........just saying!

That's not a low budget, you can get something pretty good for that. Why not go M70?

Sears & Roebuck SR2199. These have analogue VU meters, a full logic deck with music search, line in/out/phone, a really classy blue tuning dial face and a rich warm sound. Best of all they can be had on the cheap. Well with in your budget.

Yep as Chris says the 2199 is a nice box that can be got for not too much money
