I am glad you said that Bobby...Tunya was holding back as she has now told me the Post Office delivery lady stood it sideways and sat it on our porch. And I'm guesing the kids brought it in the house. (Tunya didn't want me to worry knowing my plans.) I saw her (the post lady) and she said it was heavy and kinda hard to get in her Jeep! (Understand we have rural delivery, you know, the kind wher people use their cars and don't wear a uniform. She has a little CJ-5.)

Hi guys

First he opened the walkman then spent 15 minutes explaining what a walkman was to our younger children. They wouldn't let him linger too long on the walkman...they were anxious to see what was in the big box.

Thank you so much for the CP7. Fred reaaaallllly enjoyed opening it. And the exclaimation "OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooHHHHHHHhhhhhwwwweEEEEEEeeee!!!!!!!!!!" as he finally pulled the CP7 out of the box was EPIC!!!!!!!
After all of the pictures were done...that means when I was tired of taking pictures of a scapel, bubble wrap and all the teeth God blessed my husband with. I have always joked with him about looking like Alfred E. Neuman from Mad Magazine. Boy that gapped tooth grin is my proof. I took several pictures of it. Fred sat the CP7 on top of the box it came in and just stared at it for about a half hour. He stared so hard that he even noticed that the speakers still had the plastic between them and the main unit. Every once in a while he'd say something like "I finally got it...after 26 it's finally here." After that was done he cleaned up...but don't think that the grins and comments stopped there. He noticed the CP7's box had all of its original inspextion stickers from Japan.

Again thank you guys so much for making my husband's dream come true. He never expected it to happen quite like this. He really loves you guys. He even convinced me to sign up and talk to you personally!

OK guys after an evening spent with my wife and the black CP-7 I will post some photos a bit later. Yes I am still marveling at it. Yes I am still and will always be stoked. Yes, for what you all did for me, I would almost...ALMOST kiss all you guys for this astounding and incredible effort that somehow I still can't figure I deserved.

And yes, my eldest daughter Viv did drag it in off the porch and as she put it, kinda bounced it a few inches of the floor. And yes there was something rattling around in there...the power cord!

How do ya think I feel not getting to fondle the CP-7 all day?!?!

I finally had time to settle down as of 7:30pm CST!!! Please lets not forget, I have the wife with bad back which requires that I help with the house AND we some how managed to get a temporary guest in the form of a lost female dog (Husky) today. So that's wife, my three kids, great (grand) nephew and now TWO dogs!!!
