I myself WILL NOT open these until that time. It is a moment that should be shared in person with as much of my "Brotherhood" as possible!!!

OK guys...I have a legit dilemma...

My wife, whom I love very much...has indicated two things to me that have me in conflict....

First and most important, she may not make it to Florida with me due to back spasms which affect the disks in her spine. (She has a degenerative disk in her lower spine. ) Right now she is doing physical therapy and we're keeping our fingers crossed...

Second, she says "What happens if you open the packages up in Florida and something is wrong? You will not be able to make any claims because as Ira noted earlier, it will have been twenty days. (Cousin works at the Post Office.)

What do I do? Should I continue to hold out? I want to hold out, and if she couldn't make it I would open it up to share the moment with her first the night before leaving because she knows how long I've wanted one. And I know of at least one member here in close proximity to share the joy so it wouldn't be a total loss on my intent.

But what about the post office thing?
