Dammmmnn......a Denon? That is hot.......I wonder if they made it all by themselves, or if it's an AKA? Either way, it's beautiful

They made them themselves, I think they did 3 models. The H-70, H-55 and another model that's a combination of the other two's colour ways. They're essentially all the same box though, just different colours and a couple of different features on the front. I've got two of the three so far. Never seen them as AKAs; they're pretty distinctive. They all cheat though, the bottom amp section is mains power only. The main section runs on batteries but doesn't power the speakers, so it's like an oversized walkman as a portable. A real oddity in the boombox world for sure! They sound AWESOME though.

for me no other 3 piece box comes close to the looks of these .

It sounds like crap Ira, all I get out of it is this odd pounding and booming sound with smooth highs. I think something is wrong with the woofers because they keep moving a lot, I think they're loose, I'm going to swap in some Coby drivers and hopefully fix that problem.
