The Studio 1 is pimp, it is my only box that I don't leave the bass and treble on max. Max treble will make your ears bleed. It's just too much. And max bass will make the woofers start flapping, because they're kind of loose (which is what allows it to produce such nice warm bass at low volume levels).

I don't think the Tele is a match for the FH7 3 way. The sound separation is unmatched, the power is... (well just look at the amp), and it handles thunderous amounts of bass at ALL volume levels. I do like the looks of the Tele though...very nice.

although just as I have never heard the Sony and I don't believe you have ever heard the Telefunken , both our opinions are what they are on each. I believe we all have different tastes not only in looks of these boxes but the sound as well. I have never really liked anything by Sony, although I did own a Sony car deck once ( Was not too thrilled with it ) I had also checked out there home components line before but was not happy with looks or sound. But I do hope to someday be able to hear the Sony FH line up because I have heard positive feedback on it. I also hope someday you will be able to hear a Telefunken first hand too

We need to stop comparing the sony fh range with our boxs as these were made as a mini hifi system
and not a boombox (portable stereo unit)
the top of the line fh sonyies will kill all every time but look and you will see the handle was an after thought the battey pack an after thought
all signs of mini systems not what we mite consider a true boombox
but a mini state of the art hifi
i have an fh 10 it will kill all my boxes (and i have over 300 to play with) so i hide it away and pretend my conion still rules
there are others out there with the sony fh handle style (as i like to call it) that will compete with the sonys and will kill all other boxes
but boxes like this telefunken have there own sound and sound great but so do many others and my ears hear different from yours
my eyes see different from yours
so we will all continue to like different boomboxs and have different opinions on them all
so we are all right and no one is wrong in our own eyes
besides the sony APM speakers will kill any thing for bass

Ok sweet! Saw some pictures on german ebay and I couldn´t figure out where the batterycompartment was...
Yeah it may run better when it´s plugged in but if it couldn´t run on batteries the handle would be pretty useless!
