well i would really love to have one thats for sure. in fact lately i have been considering selling a bunch of the boxes i have to get one.
i am pretty lazy tho i mean i probably will never get to it.
i dont think there is a lot of chance of finding one of those in the wild here.
i mean conion clairtone was more popular in the east than the west here.

Thanks guys She is a one owner, given to the seller as a high school graduation present (thats the story anyway). Currently en route from Florida to me in Washington. It was a full day and a half fiasco and a bit of a gamble getting it paid for, packed, and shipped, involving pay phones 
, western union 
, and other sketchy no-nos but for (drum roll please) ..$280 
, I just had to "let it ride"
I also bought Sin's 9962, and am suuuper stoked to be getting both these boxes. I think he could tell I was a lil scatterbrained due to the Conion epic lol.

Hahaha of course I'll do boomboxery a solid! This place rocks, and has helped me a ton as I lurked in silence. But... I still need that M70 battery cover!!

you know gordie i dont think they did.
if i am remembering correctly the clairtones were sold at zellers out here. back in the day we only had one zellers store down on fourth avenue.
before it was zellers i think it was called fedco.
i can remember the big clairtone sitting on the shelf with the discolite boxes.
i seem to remember the big clairtone with a 249 dollar price sticker on it but i could be all wrong with that it was a long long time ago.
Wish it were mine instead.
