I'm not sure if it was sold here under MAGNAVOX brand, but I would only get a Philips version. Magnavox now days sells some really cheap Chinese electronics, and I don't want to buy anything made by them - even from good old days.
I wonder if your Philips has a voltage selector? Or is it 220V only?

Wow, so Philips does it too???? That is too bad. Is Philips not a premium brand anymore??
Too bad about 220V - I know that some of the Philips boomboxes used to have voltage selector

HORNYPHON / RADIOLA > brand deleted ?(btw long no stuff seen)
MARANTZ > label sold
