Yeah, finally got one for cheap! :smooch:
The doubledeck version i got twice, but the cheaper one with 1 deck is quite rare.

But here it is:

Good condition, fully working.
Only a few little cracks, like on the bottom of the left speaker.
No problem, i got spare speakers on flea (max, you remember what i told you... ;-) )

But it´s more a stationary unit as for outdoor use. :hmmm:
Too heavy + big and the speaker owns no holder.
So a little bad moving and they fall off...

Instead the 2 logic decks, this one owns 1 servo deck

also single scale, not 2 pointer as on the 8734 :sadno:

the only thing it makes it better as his sister > the title search system

to be honest:
if anybody could choose: take the 8734 ;-)
It´s very better featured :smooch:

I wonder why the single-deck version didn't have the lovely blue woofers? Beautiful Philips. :-)

i'm not a great fan of this style of boombox!! but just love this one loads of features and i love the way the tape controls are on the right rather underneath the deck!! a great find that

Crazy monstrous. Check that trunk / deck-lid for dents. :w00t: :-O

True, the size is still impressive. :-D
More a home unit as a blaster.
btw: the doubledecker i use as home stereo. :agree:

great soundmachine mate-but how does sound compare to the d8614?would be very interested to know

thanks retro

The 3piecer has the better bass.
But also the 8614 is a very good machine.
My opinion: Get both! :-D and some more...

Wow, what a great find Roman!

you always seems to come by the models you need on those fleas. I'm guessing that's where you find this beuty?

Theres something quite nice about that dark mid section on the 8718

Request: If you get a chance, could you make a photo where the 8718, 8734 and the 8644 are present, would really appriciate it! :breakdance:

no only a fading between 2 decks for 8734 :dj-party:

but it's sufficient and unusual

very good bass for 8734 much better than 8644 :surf:
