Think big - PHILIPS soundmachine 8718

Yeah, finally got one for cheap!
The doubledeck version i got twice, but the cheaper one with 1 deck is quite rare.

But here it is:

Good condition, fully working.
Only a few little cracks, like on the bottom of the left speaker.
No problem, i got spare speakers on flea (max, you remember what i told you... )

But it´s more a stationary unit as for outdoor use.
Too heavy + big and the speaker owns no holder.
So a little bad moving and they fall off...

Instead the 2 logic decks, this one owns 1 servo deck

also single scale, not 2 pointer as on the 8734

under pressure :sin:

the only thing it makes it better as his sister > the title search system

to be honest:
if anybody could choose: take the 8734
It´s very better featured

But i love both - sisters in spatial stereo

True, the size is still impressive.
More a home unit as a blaster.

Usual i also dislike 3piecers, but some are very nice.
And my favourite from PHILIPS are those ones.

The 3piecer has the better bass.
But also the 8614 is a very good machine.
My opinion: Get both! and some more...

Usual i buy on flea, but this was from fleabay austria
But not offered for shipping , only self pickup.
So less bids on it.

Of my PHILIPS collection i tink so
But the 8734 is my most loved box of all boxes.
An "elephant" i have never heared before, but hoping to get soon.

no only a fading between 2 decks for 8734

but it's sufficient and unusual

very good bass for 8734 much better than 8644
