I thought we was all getting together soon........ bummer

It was kind of a last minute thing Joe.
Jeff was on his way back home down I 90 94 so we met up to visit for only about an hour as Jeff needed to get home.
I thought about calling you and Spud "Joel" but I didn't think it would be a worth while trip just for an hour visit.
Maybe when jeff comes through here again,we could meet up...

Just give me some notice and I will try and make a "meet up". I am still traveling, but things are winding down for the year already. Instead of 90-100 hour weeks and being gone all the time I am doing 60-70 hour weeks and only gone 2-3 days a week. Weekends are usually full of family stuff, but if either of you have some time to meet up for a half-day during the week let me know. I don't mind driving down...

Contrast that with me going all the way down to Florida to meet up with Ramon.... at Ira's place. Ira hung around us all night, providing food, refreshments and the like... kinda clingy, but Ramon seemed like he was used to it so I went along with it. I tried to make a break for it on the Woodie, but needless to say I only made it to the beach.

No, I was down in the area for work... it was just an evening get-together with Ira and Ramon. Other than them Scott is the only other member I have ever met up with.

Thanks guys,it was really cool meeting him.
Now maybe next month if it works out we might meet at a park and have some food and more time.
I'll actually bring like 3-5 boomboxes so there will be more to look at.
I'm looking forward to another Florida meet-just make it late March-Please!!

Great story and pictures. I'm digging the "Boombox listening area" with the heater, folding chair and box of cassettes!

Nice radios you guys got there. Please post pictures of your JVC project. I have one I need to work on as well.

Hi Lasonic TRC-920-I will do that,I'm going to tackle it tomorrow!
I got Skippy's all cleaned up and now for a board transplant.
Will take photos of them side by side and then the insides.
Shouldn't be to hard but my capstan assembly is a little off and that might be a challenge.

Hi Guys-Sorry for the delay but am getting this started today w/photos!
Been cleaning.partying because of my new well newer to me Pioneer SX V-90 that I've been rockin' to.
Now football but the boomboxes are getting their transplant soon!
Still coming the 838 transplant.
