Sorry to disturb. Just back from my 80 years old ankle and found at his garage Tristar RR5890 in good working order but just one question - at the right side there is a red window and some small windows below - is is for remote control or.... Sorry but never seen such BIG boom box before. What year approx it was made ? My own boombox is Sharp GF-800 Thanks , Andy

The red window is actually an siren/alarm sensor. You can set it to be on, and if someone walks too close to it or moves it around the siren will go off. It's really loud .
