Latest one is a Lasonic 975 that I got for under $170 total. Little dusty, but man it was shining up real quick after a simple wipe down, and no real scratches yet to be seen. One missing deck key but that's in the mail.

But in a few days the mailman/ups should be showing up with that Lasonic 920T that I got for $150 total, a functional but lil rough Helix 4635, a real nice Sharp 777, a Lasonic 931, a 975 NIB, a Clairtone 7980, and the Tecsonic J-1 that was also under $200 with some button/key issues but otherwise should be real nice. Yeah, I kinda went off with with the purchases of late after taking some time off. But getting the 975, 920T and J1 all for under $200 each, I thought I had to jump on them. I wish I was like some of y'all and find a 838 for 50Euro or a $5 M70 at a garage, but I just don't even know where to start to find anything decent in the Twin Cities. I'd think I could spend 4 hours every sat and sun for the summer and maybe be lucky to find 1 vintage box, and I just can't do that. There was a real nice 838 that made it into one of those 'sell it on ebay' stores just a mile away, guess it was from some estate sale type bit. Tried to make a deal but it was already listed. I've yet to be able to see/use a box before buying it. Always on edge when that box shows up at the door. This 975 was packed real bad after give specific instructions for packing, but it luckily made it here safe.

After a quick once over wipe down for that 1st layer of dust.

That black Lasonic cheap plastic shine starting to come out a few minutes after wiping it down. And it's great to have actual red tweeters in here, still can't wait to see the fake one's in the 920T. F'n Lasonic

Tape that they thought was stuck in it because RW button was stuck down. It was just one of those Lasonic 'dislocated button' issues. In 5 seconds I got it right out and the deck is all good. But I've got a great tape to listen to know. :)
