Browsing the Future Shop web site today (FS is a Canadian retailer owned by Best Buy). See they have the TDK 3-speaker box, and the sound cube, in stock! I'll be dropping by this week to do some testing!

They're already in the store. I only had 15 minutes to fiddle around, but I got to hear the TDK 3-speaker boombox, sound cube, and the IMT-800. No staff warnings to turn it down, but I did get some looks from other customers! I'll post some impressions once I've had a chance to go back (and remember to bring proper cables for sound tests).
